DC Trigger Question

I'm in a situation where I'd like to use a Panamax power management unit with DC trigger to turn on/off the switched receptacles.

Thing is, for this particular setup, I don't have a piece of equipment with DC trigger control to send to the Panamax.

I'm looking for a dummy unit with remote control on/off to pretty much take the place of what a preamp with DC trigger out would do, for example.

Or any other ideas?

    Bk - good heads up on a stand-alone. I think that's the opposite direction, but handy nonetheless!

    Thanks for the dialog fellas. Was having a hard time thinking of how to actually search this one. The search phrase I was looking for was "remote 12v trigger". Trust me to complicate it :)

    Scott, I was thinking you should hook up a horn to your remote control DC trigger project. That way when you turn on your equipment, the horn will chirp as if you are locking your car doors. Maybe hook up some rope lighting, as well, to impress the ladies. You be pimpin'!
