when hearing of a shipping mishap involving audio equipment you think of polkfarmboy.

you snicker when someone makes a comment about black paint.

you remember when VR3 was Sid the Kid.

you know about Ben's silver cables.

you remember when "Looking for Misc. Audio Deals of the Day," *"What Are You Listening To," and "Post a Picture...Any Picture" were new threads.

you know about (and probably love) the Jersey Grands.

Or, it's a red herring, and while you are out of the house the guys who bought all your stuff from the ad she put on Craigslist will be at your house to haul it all away? Color me conspiratorial. :)
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Heck I remember Jesses first post where he asked about how he could improve the sound of his system by biamping through his receiver on the A/B channels.

Gosh, what a flame thread that was with Micah at the helm!!!

.....When you remember the moderators (all of them) posting things daily basis that would have gotten get them banned as of late (until we went mod-free).

When you remember trolls like riggins and the blokes from England with their "dirty" forum where everything was sexual in nature, even something as innocent as speaker wire.

When Polk or Polk representatives actually backed Polkfests, made T-shirts, gave a way gear and showcased their latest and greatest.

When Mark Suskind would show up drunker than a skunk at a Polkfest rambling that it was unwise to have toe in on a speaker setup that wasn't an SDA.....further rambling on that toe OUT actually had a better soundstage...

LOL, one of the most entertaining threads, along with PFB trying to stick a banana plug into the hole on a speaker post.....sideways.

Troy getting photo shopped on just about everything was akin to Russ today.

Heck, some of us have been here longer than others have been alive. Makes me feel old darn it.

Jessie has always been Jessie, the man is consistent. He just has a nicer coffin these days.

Trey was like one of those kids from "American Pie".

Mr. Hardy was just learning about dumpster diving.

Doro was a mod at one point, much fun was had.

Ted had a kick arse woodshed rig, but his definition of a woodshed probably wouldn't meet yours.

    Tasteful babe thread wasn't always so.....tasteful. :)

What are you drinking thread was a blast too, maybe we should revive that one.

Polk was actually involved, with the forum.

You could count on one hand, the days of the month ol' Russman was sober.

Ivan was still shooting BB-guns and sling shots.

John was still sledding down his driveway in Minnesota...with funky thoughts of Bob Carver.

Brock was just discovering Tubes. Seems he likes 'em.

Joey was still in High school.

Rich was trying to figure out how he could get the top end in his Chevelle to be unlimited.

Trey....was pulling out tree stumps with his pick-up

    Brian was DJ-ing kids parties.

Then, you really know you've been here a long time when you can remember those who have passed on, and previous marriages of some.

Great memories, and the best online family anyone could ask for. The forum and it's membership has never stopped amazing me at it's generosity, compassion, and knowledge base.
