Well, there probably is Italian food there, but it is probably best avoided.
True story, a colleague & I spent the night before a travel day (back to the US and UK, respectively) at the Kansai airport in Osaka. At the time, Kansai was brand new and really nice. It's built on an artificial island, out in the harbor. Nice hotels, shops and places to eat... but, for whatever reason, we chose to eat at a Chinese restaurant.
Don't eat at a Chinese restaurant in Japan. At least, not one at the airport.

Firefighting is a dangerous occupation requiring great skill, great courage and great devotion to duty. I have deep admiration for the people who choose to do it.
