:s some really nice speakers here, ruined by their owners with terrible paint jobs... :(

Some people should not be allowed to own nice gear.

Or be allowed to use a paint brush.

Here is Polk Audio CS-350 Center Channel Speaker in Atlanta area on CL:
    No affiliation - $100

Isn't this unobtanium, or pretty close to it? It's $100 and has been around a month... I'd be wary of that, just because it seems like someone would have jumped on it in that time.

    Polk Monitor 9's.

They're kind of rare too. 150 is the most I'd pay for them. I paid 80 or 90 I think, a long time ago.

Some like them and some don't.

I like mine! they have peerless tweeters. :pB)

They're right in the middle of this picture.

What do you gents think of these? I've been thinking about getting back in the SDA game after being gone for awhile. These have been listed for some time and the price has come down quite a bit. I think he might have started at $900.

I think he still has a way to go................You will need to upgrade them and that will not be cheap!

FYI......there is a pair on Ebay right now for the same price. And it includes free shipping (which will cost the seller a fortune).

Who needs black paint when you can have this? 1400 dollars? Way too cheap if you ask me. :D

It's no wonder. That is most precious aquagris, harvested from the pineal gland of the rarest coyote whale, and only albinos of this species, which has been extinct for over 350 years. There are only seven 1-ounce vials of this known to exist, and two of them have been sent into orbit on Elon Musk's space station.

I actually looked at a road trip to get that deal. ;)

I used to travel near there practically every week for 6 years or so.

Thankfully I didn't search Craig's List while I traveled the East Coast every week. I'm sure the back seat and trunk would've had something in it. But thinking about it, I did go to yard sales and pawn shops a lot when I was back home on most Saturdays.

The previous link was 404 like the first.
    This link above does work.

I know some folks that live about 10 miles from there.

Thought about it but better to stay on task.
