    Agreed, those don't even classify as cables.....I used to tie up my tomato plants with those. You don't have to spend a lot of money for decent cables. Maybe once you realize cables are a part of your system just like a CDP/PRE/AMP, or any other piece of gear, you'll understand the bigger picture.

    I know that I don’t, and I know that they do make a difference, but at my price point, I will get more value if I put the money I could put towards cables towards amps, TTs, CDPs, etc. I do plan to get better cables, but if I do it will probably be bottom tier AudioQuest, with Blue Jeans speaker cables (unless AudioQuest sells just bare wire, because I need about 10 feet for my left speaker).

    FWIW, I noticed an audible improvement in sound when I went from standard speaker wire to Blue Jeans "BJC Twelve" speaker cable on my computer audio setup.

    A bunch of people have told me I shouldn't have that wad sitting open on a shelf. Many times..LOL. They certainly are honest people to have let me know they spotted it and didn't try to pocket it behind my back. o:)

    Those palm trees provide enough maple sap to keep me boiling year round. And if I want sugar on snow, I just take the 275 up into the mountains for a few hours. :p

    Most definitely. They had a McIntosh 7270 just to the right of the first picture, but there wasn’t a picture of it in the listing. A lot of really nice gear. My dad almost bought the black Yamaha on the bottom right, but he passed because he didn’t know now what he would’ve done with it. I wanted it really bad, but it was $250, which was $200 more than I had.

    Oh yeah, they had $500 or something on them! And someone bought one while I was there... pretty crazy if you ask me. Not that they are bad receivers, but $500??
