How many of the original posters still have the speakers they listed? Many names from the past, but amazing how many are still around and active here. Can't be too many forum communities like that.15 year old thread.

Greetings,
Just wanted to update my configurations, because I’ve mixed and matched the setup a bit:
Main HT setup:
AVR Panasonic SA-XR57 7.1 (w digital amps)
- Center Polk CS400i (bi-wired)
- L/R mains Polk Monitor 7C
- Surrounds Polk R10 (upgraded Vifa tweeters)
- Rear surrounds Polk FX300i
- Subwoofer Pioneer SW-8
The Main is a terrific setup which really makes the Polk Monitor 7Cs sing
The Pioneer sub is a bit more musical than the PSW10 so I use it here
Man Cave:
AVR Parasound pre/pro/amp separates
- Center Polk CS300
- L/R mains Polk CS175i (upgraded Vifa tweeters)
- Surrounds CSW Ensemble iii
- Subwoofer Polk PSW10HT1: Polk Monitor 5jrS2 L/R, Polk CS400i center (bi-wire)
Sides: Polk VX300i surround speakers

Most are due to format changes, however there are a few well deserved bans.Political Correctness'.........defined

What a thinning of the herd!
I sure need to follow your lead.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Sorry, I don't. If you've been looking for some original stands I'm sure you've come to the realization as to their rarity. -
If I'm not mistaken a few members here were planning on doing the same project. Not sure how far they got.

A sound bar and little matching Sub in my sons bedroom! Works well !"if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

It actually boggles the mind how many speakers I’ve gone through in the past 20 years....
