A new top of the line type speaker makes sense and kind of goes hand in hand with the 50% off sale they had a while back to move NOS out.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

Well, put me on the review list if it's an RTIa replacement or higher. Otherwise, I will not get an opportunity to hear them because the only two stores around me that carry the Polk line only stock the Monitor line.

It is what needed to be said. Outside of this Polk world, many audiophiles look down on Polk because of a misconceived notion that they produce mediocre speakers. The point is to generate buzz about the brand again, and that is what they are doing.

If that's the case, then they just justified those sentiments by saying that.

    Interesting stuff guys... yah...

Anyway, thought you might like to see some of the different driver sizes coming off the line.

    ss5ow16964hb.jpg

I will say that this line will not be replacing LSiM, but that might be a project under discussion for a future date... It will also not be a T series level line, as we just released that last year.

The drivers in the fist shot can be seen here intermixed with some of the larger drivers...

So you're saying that these will not out preform the LSiM's but will be somewhere in the middle of the Polk line?

I am excited, but am I suppose to get this looked at if it lasts longer than 4 hours.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

So... if I narrow down this statement...
"I will say that this line will not be replacing LSiM, but that might be a project under discussion for a future date... It will also not be a T series level line, as we just released that last year."
    Then this could be..

    A. Under the T series line
    B. Above the T series line
    C. Below the LSiM line
    D. Above the LSiM line

    or...none of the above...this helps a lot.
