Yes for me it's early but a good time for tunes. At this time in the morning even the dogs are still asleep. Leaving me totally alone with the hi-fi.

You are right there's not a bad song on the album. My favorite is track 1 Johnny Guitar
Thanks for the rec

Morning fellas, yes you guys were up early this morning, late night for me and now back with the face to the grindstone. Hope to get my new Jelco 750D tonearm today and maybe this weekend will have an opportunity to make a new armboard. Looking forward to going down the LOMC rabbit hole. Was that out loud?

Don I bought a used table years ago that had LOMC cartridge already mounted. I never went back to MM. But of course everybody's tastes are diff.
As always YMMV

I recently tried LOMC via a highly recommended AT cart. It just didn't marry well with my system. So, 9 weeks ago, I sent my 15+ year old, high output MC (Dynavector DV-20XH) off to SoundSmith for a rebuild with their ruby cantilever and optimized contour nude contact line diamond stylus. Got it back late yesterday and set it up today. Jaw dropping!
@dromunds - enjoy the journey! I hope it sounds totally amazing. -

Great! I thought you might just totally dig that album.

Great to be spinning vinyl on the main table again. Have it driving the HTC HMS-100 hybrid amp and Cain & Cain Abbys today for the first time ever. Love the synergy!

Blue: Good to hear you like the Soundsmith retip. I also have a S.A.E. 1000 HOMC cart that I had Soundsmith do a level III retip on, and I've never listened to it yet, so I have another headshell on order which I intend to mount it on. I'm covered for both LOMC and HOMC. LOL. A friend of mine had a level I or II retip done by Soundsmith to a Denon DL-160 and he loves it. It'll be a bit before I get the armboard done and everything set up, maybe a week or ten days hopefully, but I'm jazzed!
