Saw this ensemble last night with the family. They did a good bit of Sinatra but also played Johnny Mercer, Ella Fitzgerald, and Charles Mingus....so they hit on various forms of jazz. If you get an opportunity to see them....they are the real deal.fj8xqu7kibvq.jpeg

Just picked up this iDAC over the weekend in trade for some old gear I no longer used.. Sounds pretty sweet so far.

    f60u0y2qrbe2.jpeg

I picked one up a few months ago and love it. A huge upgrade over my dacmagic and dragonfly.
    Setup:

    2 Channel: Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand, T+A P 1230R, Primare SPA21, Oppo BDP-105
PC: Vienna Acoustics Haydn Grand, Cambridge Azure 650A v2 , Peachtree iDAC, Denon DVD-3800BDCI

I just ordered one for my cat so that we can drop him off at grandmas house for future vacas. Takes up a lot less space than that damn cat carrier the size of a cooler.

Here are some cool pictures I took when I visited Belgium on business. During some down time we visited the memorial in Bastogne honoring the Americans who gave their lives in the Battle of the Bulge.

    4t5anc.jpg
Each state is represented and engraved around the monument.

    1z6a05s.jpg

    iw3olx.jpg
The United States suffered almost 80,000 casualties in the battle with 19,000 killed.

Afterwards I stopped into the Bastogne gift shop and purchased some stuff for my father, who is also a big military history buff, and a coffee mug for myself.

In the words of General Anthony McAuliffe it simply has..... "Nuts" printed on it with the American flag.

From there we crossed the border into France and made stops at Dieppe and Normandy. Maybe I'll post some pictures from those locations too if there is an interest.

After 51 cms of snow. I had cleared the driveway once yesterday. This was this morning, after the plow came by:cfcjxpst4am1.jpg

This was after cleaning the driveway and the snowbank of 4ft high and 3 ft wide:

Took 1.5 hrs to clean and had to refill my snowblower with gas once.

we've had an extremely mild winter this year. It's only been below freezing a handful of times this winter. The high is in the 80's today.

What it should read..."look man, I'll get you out but, I want better food, I wanna crash on the couch, ...and oh yeah one more thing...quit hitting me when I sniff your girl friend"

Thanks Rick! We get up to Seneca quite a bit to stock up on wine. We've passed Hector Falls many times, but never Tumbling Water. We'll have to get down that way next time we're up there. BTW, Hector Falls is only 6 miles from Tumbling Water. Here's a pic of Hector Falls from Google...
