This is a picture I took of Jimi Hendrix's white Stratocaster at the EMP Music Museum in Seattle. This is the one and the same used to play the star -spangled banner @ Woodstock.

    Very cool!

Is it part of this collection in the museum?

Would love to see any other pics you grabbed.

It is (the Strat) in the permanent Hendrix display. There is also a permanent Nirvana display, as both are homegrown. Each occupy their own wing of the museum. I was there 3 years ago. It is an excellent museum and was built by Paul Allen cofounder of Microsoft. It is located a stones throw from the Space Needle. I do have other pictures that I will dig out and post.

New LED light for our backyard. It uses two 30w chips mounted to an aluminum heatsink with an external 34v 1.75A driver. I measured last night at 45F outdoor temperature and the light temp'ed at 100F. With the reflectors, the light pattern is about 120 degrees with a rated output of almost 5000 lumen. It's bright to say the least, and the whiter color temperature seems to pick up detail better in the yard.

    ^LED light

Nice! Did you buy this module or DIY? Who makes it, or what emitter did you use? Is the driver on the back of the heat sink?

I bought the 135w version of this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010U8V906?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01

12k lumens should light up the area nicely :)

I'll be running wire this weekend and hopefully be installing it the weekend after.

I'm not thrilled about the wiring of the driver, but it needs to be in open air for cooling, and is weather proof. At least all the connections are in the the j-box, and that outlet is what I use for our Christmas and summer backyard lights.

    dfnaqg78too3.jpg

Purchased the light on ebay from a seller who builds them to order. He will also do custom builds which I have been chatting with him about some downlighting as the price seems very reasonable for the quality. http://www.ebay.com/usr/sci50514

Do you know how long it took me to get those two to even speak to each other??!!
The weasel was shifty and the woodpecker was flighty. But they grew to like each other and that is their offspring.

You are doing us a huge disservice by creating such silly creatures.
Maybe try and mate a pig and a blue whale so that we can have bacon the size of a Volkswagen. We can call it a Phale.

Can't help you on the Alpha role. I don't have cats. I took the photo about ten years ago. I thought the light was right and they were sitting so peaceful in the sun with snow in the foreground.
