    Just to expand a bit on my previous brief comment: the 3.1TL model has been my grail for years since I joined Club Polk. My expectation is that they will be the last pair of fronts I will ever want. Once I have integrated them into my system I will be putting some other vintage Polks up for sale to recoup some of the cost.

    aprazer402 thanks for the link. I thought 1Cs were in the new style cabinet with fabric sides? These look like 1Bs to me. They have a walnut finish so I don't think they are studios either. These look like they have wood sides.

    Those could be 1B's or the early b/b studio 1C's, I only have real wood 1C's (not the studio ones). I defer to experts on how to tell the difference between 1B's and early 1C studios. Both have b/b interconnect and dual-board crossovers. You would have to take a MW out and see what model it is (refer to link for which MW are in each version). I would hope they are the even later1C's studio with p/b. See the link as this get's murky, very similar from the exterior. Good price either way. http://www.gimpod.com/sda-id.html
