Best Rock and Roll band ever, imho.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

Sandworms - we did a similar trip last summer. Definitely must see places! Did you by chance drive the Zion - Mt. Carmel Highway between Zion and Bryce? Coming out of Zion, it's breathtaking going up the switchbacks to the tunnel at the top. You come out the other side of the tunnel in another world!

Here's a pano taken at Zion at the Zion Lodge:

Looks like the last leg of Angel's Landing. We were going to do that hike... Until the ranger told us (when we asked if it was dangerous) that "the hike is incredible, but there have been some kids who had fallen to their deaths". My wife and I both looked at our wide-eyed kids, emphatically shaking their heads "NO"!

Is that the road that peaks at 12,500' elevation and is straight down on both sides with no guide rail at some points? Remember my wife driving that road (straddling the centerline) with white knuckles!

we've all do so scary or dangerous stuff, but when it comes to the family or kids..NO is correct! always better safe, you can get over the regret of having not taken the hike :)

I was getting close to the edge of a cliff to take a picture once whne the wind blew me 3 feet before I could stop ...I wasnt near the edge but I had to sit down and rewind my brain to what just happened and I never went near nother edge like that

Yes, that pic was the from the second last summit to angels landing, where there are many signs warning of how many have died attempting the climb. There are chains to hold on to, but even those were pulling out of the rocks and hard to trust. Aside from the sandy footing and sheer drop offs on the foot wide trail, you have to deal with multiple people trying to pass up and down

We're from Atlanta, and spent a week in DC last summer. Told anyone who commented that we heard that one of the top teams was playing at Navy Yard today....so of course we assumed the Braves were playing!

The reason us folks put up with winter in Northern New England is for spring weekends like this one! :- )
