    there was another Darryl I met in Wichita who was like best friends with John Schlitt the old lead singer who also form a band called Johnny. Johnny was suppose to open for cheap trick but right before he concert he quit the band :( so the band found another singer and open for CT..without Johnny but still using that name, saw Darryl at the concert and we was going to get us back stage but Johnny ruin that LOL. he had lots of their tapes mainly stuff john was working on. sounded good but not special

    in 2011, Head East was inducted into the Iowa Rock n' Roll Music Association's Hall of Fame.

    Bootsy Concert in Wichita was canceled due to lack of sales, so A buddy of mine at work was upset so we played some Bootsy Rubber band good old fashion funk today and it was likeable fun music. actually enjoy it.

    Here is some good info on Head East I seen them a couple of years ago Roger Boyd was the only original member then and now, the show was ok but John Schlitt was missed. John Schlitt also has some solo albums besides being in Petra. His solo releases are in the Christian rock genre. So there you have I'm a huge Head East fan Schlitt era.

    Thanks for the info on Head East. I didn't know any of that. They were VERY popular in Wisconsin in that era. And Bootsy Collins cancelled because of low sales? George Clinton is coming here in the spring, saw him twice in the last five years and each time they blew the roof off the mother#$*&#! The last time was a club in New Orleans and it was packed!
