Is this a potential red flag, perhaps not originally a matching pair? "Serial # on back L-SDS-SRS 3493 and R-SDS-SRS 4286."

And I notice there's not a single photo showing both speakers, nor anything to indicate all the photos weren't of the same single speaker. Odd?

Not uncommon for the serial #'s not to be in sequence, if fact I think it's more the norm for them not to be in order.

Can you report any chance to buy a good pair of SDA 2.3 or 2A/2B (however any good SDA model) in Europe, please?

I would think that would fall on you to do YOUR homework for that area. Many of us do not check the European Craigslist or any other. As another poster told you before it is HARD enough to get them here in the Good OL' U.S. of A.

SDA 2.3 TLs are one of my dream speakers and I really want to get a pair one day as, from all I have read, they are one of the best-sounding speakers of the SDA line.

A pair was recently listed on ebay, no affiliation, and the seller is not too far from me...but price seems extremely high...even for 2.3 TLs...and I also do not like the tiger maple wood he made for the end caps (maybe looks better in person, who knows?).

Here is the link if anyone is interested (and maybe seller will negotiate on the very high price).

I agree. Do people just hang on to their gears or there is nothing worth selling? However this is a second time I see another pair of 1C Studio for sale for the last couple of months.

They SHOULD be, but of course they're not.

Polk has a serial number breakdown of the units having the "wrong" blade/blade jacks installed--both the 2B and the 1C. The speakers are otherwise identical to the pin/blade versions. A blade/blade 1C or blade/blade 2B can be converted to pin/blade if you can find the correct socket and add a foot of wire.

What's this about all 2Bs should be pin/blade.I have Blade/blade verified by year, Jesse and a boatload of other people. When I pulled the mids out for Dynamatting I had left side #6511dd #6503sd on the right side #6503stereo driver and #6511dd. w/ '87
marked on them including the passives and again blade/blade. No longer in use, went w/ Neutrik bases and twist lock sleeves. I thought the dates would show up better. Also upgraded to the RDO-194s.

I'm curious as to why you didn't completely cover the back of the PRs? That is the part of the PRs that I found rings the most when tapped.

My 2.3tls have a thick paper ring glued to them in that area for that purpose. So I would guess you could glue thick cardboard on the speaker frame as sort of a poor man's sound deadener
