Jesus Mystery, good find! I sent him/her both a text and an e-mail. Even if they're seriously destroyed and all I get out of them is a few backup midwoofers it's worth it.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

Wow check this out
Big SDA's - those look like they have the sl2000s even though that isn't his photo and a sick bryston 4b plus pre, turntable and a spare qsc power amp.

Well I bought those RTA12's. Sorry to say I'm taking them out to the pasture... 2 scratchy voice coils, one of the MW's is a Realistic, top hats are destroyed, looks like some kind of liquid (a beverage) was spilled all over them as well as they are missing the interior pieces that make them hold their shape, wood is cracked and missing in some spots, veneer is trashed. I got one 6600X, 2 Peerless tweeters, and 2 12" PR's out of it. Even then one of the Peerless has a little dent in it.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

At least you got some parts but for that price, it's still a great deal.

I felt remorseful dropping both cabinets and broken parts into the dumpster for some reason.
I hear you. It's difficult. I have two pallets full of cabinets (empty) that I picked up from an older gentleman this summer when he moved out of the area. No idea what I'm going to do with them - but I just can't bring myself to dumping them. All vintage stuff - but no Polk cabs. Mostly hardwood plywoods. Maybe, if I'm lucky, one of my sons will get a spark for audio and we can load them with something (wishful thinking likely).
Anyway, not sure if these have been posted yet, Monitor 10's in Sacramento.

I spoke with the owner as I thought about grabbing these myself. Seems to be a legit guy and a decent deal.
