Polk Audio RTA11s. I don't think these are the TLs, but at $120 for the pair it looks like a pretty good deal. San Jose area.

Thats a pretty fair price. I paid 150 for mine from a forum member and they look pretty close to how mine looked."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." eBay (151157498112), SDA-2 and get this - "NOS"!!! One speaker still has the plastic on the grill... Great. Buy a brand new pair of almost 30 year old speakers and start replacing all those 'aged out' x-ovr components.... And one of the stated reasons you will love these - "Get the Polk Audio SDA-2 and play music at a ground-breaking volume". Wow, I'm really tempted for just north of $2K... Seriously, I'd love something like this at a reasonable price.SDA SRS modded: Xovrd, de-polyed, inductorized, interconnectorized, re-posted, dynamited, RDOd, spiked, gasketed, ringed (Larry's), and grill cloth blinged! Done this on my own? Not a chance. Thanks to Raife and all who forged easy to follow upgrades. At least a 100% improvement in sound and my personal listening pleasure! :cheesygrin:Pass XP-10 preamp, Parasound A21 amp, Pioneer Elite DV-58AV (Ric Shultz modded), Audioquest Sky IC's, No longer need my Sunfire sub after mods...

The seller is incorrectly listing them as 1.2TL's. They are actually the original SRS's because there is no such thing as a blade/blade 1.2TL (or a 1.2 for that matter).SDA SRS 2.3TL's

Good eye, you must have informed him of the error in his ways, as the add has been changed. -

Why pay $1999.00 for a pair of nice looking SDA SRS's when you can pay $2150.75 for a pair of "NOS" 1984-85 SDA2's, That could turn out to be empty box's, I haven't seen any speakers have you?.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I did ;-) Great score on getting the 2.3's and 2.3TL's btw. How are those 2.3TL's sounding? I thought about replying to that ad but I figured you would get them since you are in closer proximity to the seller than I. As much as I like my 1.2TL's, I'm itching to get my ears on a pair of the 2.3TL's... even thought about selling mine or trading them for the 2.3TL's if the right situation came up.SDA SRS 2.3TL's

I currently have the 2.3TL's set up in the shop while I complete work on the 2.3's. I haven't moved the TL's into the house and hooked them up on the main rig yet.
I will probably complete most of the normal mods before they go into the house, they are going to be keepers. I always had the desire for the 1.2TL's, but, I just don't have space to accommodate them, and they can be quite expensive to modify to their fullest potential.
Maybe one day when I get the TL's completed and set up, you can make a little road trip and check them out, any SDA junkie is always welcome at our place, and I can also prove to my wife that "I'm not the only one" -
