Does Craigslist really suck?

I put a ad in for a woodstove i was needing under wanted. A guy calls me. Free. Cool. I get there and load a woodstove. Then i asked him if he had any old stereo's he wanted to sell. He said he had a old crappy one upstairs in his garage. I was thinking here goes,maybe i shouldnt of asked. I get up there and he opens box up. I was like OHHH. I asked how much because i hadnt planned on buying stereo stuff. But thought why not. He said 25.00 for both. I opened my wallet. A ATM card. 15.00 in cash. I ahowed him what i had. He said PLEASE TAKE IT. I walked out a happy man. I have been listening to it on PA Monitor 5jr+ for 3 hours. And. WOW. Craigslist does it svck. Yeah right.its mint & very nice soundingAttachment not found...SANSUI G2000

    I didnt need it. But wow it sounds so so sweet on the 5's. im moving another receiver for this one to stay because the condition is just too good and easy on the ears for a low watt receiver. Perfect on the 5jr's

    Thanks Tonyb. I had a bigger g5000 and it was a nice unit. Dont ask me how, but this smaller sansui sounds better than the bigger one. Then again i hadnt listened to it on P A Monitors. So maybe thats why. But i listened to it for 4 hours then the wife & daughter got home and shook her head. But she did say it sounded very nice

    I tell my wife im gonna list my daughter in--free for the taken. But noboby would want her. Shes a gigglebox....just joking. Shes my youngest & i say i want her to stay with us till 30.BUT Wife say 18.... I wouldnt trade her for a billion dollars. Gosh time fly's

    Very nice looking unit! Those low watters can fool you. To this day my HK 430 and a pair of Dynaco A25 bookies are among the sweetest sounding vintage systems I've ever heard. That HK is only 25 watts x 2, but what a beautiful 25 watts they are!

    CNH, don't be fooled, HK has notoriously been known to lowball the wattage output ratings, I bet it's actually closer to 40wpc!:cheesygrin:

    Great score! CL is one of those sites you have to be consistent and patient with. Also, you need a little bit of luck. Myself, I found my TV and speakers on CL and have my eye out for my next AVR. In the past I found 4 car audio decks OUT OF STATE at different time at prices lower than I've seen on ebay or any of the car audio forums I was on at the time. The two major scores were the two Clarion DRZ9255 $1399 MSRP decks that I found for awesome prices. Both in great shape and one was almost mint.

    Oh how I hate that I sold both of those....I should have kept one. But I got more than I paid for them....:biggrin:

    And honestly if I would of pursued this deal a little more effort would of landed me these. Someone beat me to them. I thick CL is great its been very very good to. My bad this has been deleted as they were sold the asking price was $200.
