Seller includes "TL" in the title, and clearly they are not the TL version.

    Buy-it-now is "only" $949. I'd pass at $400. Not a very good "audio-investment" (seller's eBay name)
One passive mid and two active mid-ranges are "frozen" and not working.
No signs of abuse or being thrown around

You wouldn't be able to get those past the wife even if they were free. lol....

I sent the guy a message about them and their condition. We will see what he says.

Stop pestering him... he already has this on the ad...

    Item condition:
    Used
“little Rough, need some TLC but solid”

Wood Base missing on one speaker, both tops also probably need be replaced.
No interconect cable (see polk forum for solutions), not a big deal.
One passive mid and two active mid-ranges are "frozen" and not working.
    ...

    That's a lot of TLC...

Not a bid...a "Best Offer", and since the respondent has only a "12" feedback score, I'm suspecting that it's a shill "offer". Time will tell...

If they sell for more than $300, I'll be amazed. First Guess: $150--$250--and local so there's no shipping cost.

Id be tempted if the price wasn't so high. Ive got the wood working skills and I have some experience now realigning magnets. Can these be TL modded?

They cant be TL'd, BUT he will let them go for 400 bucks or so... I just spoke with him via PMs at Ebay.

I'm guessing he is firm on the 400 as well? I would consider 250.00, maybe, but I doubt he would go that low. With frozen drivers and that much woodwork I definitely wouldnt go any higher.

Relisted at $799. Still at least double the likely fair-market selling price.

Yup, I have had a few conversations with him and he is darn set on getting at least 400.00 out of them. I do not know to much about the donut driver but he says one is frozen, along with two other drivers. I told him to very carefully push on the passive and see how many drivers do not pop out and that is what he responded with. If I had to bet the frozen drivers are in the cabinet that looks like it has been chucked down the stairs.

Look at the picture where the speaker hooks up is (top row 6th from the left) that Pin/Blade?
I thought the older 2.3 model "donut drivers" were Blade/Blade?

I have a pair of the 2.3 "donut" model sitting out in the garage and can confirm that it is a pin/blade interconnect interface.
