    No, don't think they are. They are (were) dark wood and I think he was upgrading the tweeters.

    I'm surprised no one has bought the 1.2 TL's from you yet. Not sure if editing your CL title to say 1.2TL's instead of 1.2's would bring more attention to buyers but $1000 bucks for 1.2 TL's is a great deal! Believe me, if I was closer I would be the proud owner of 2 pairs. Here's the link in case anyone missed it. GLWS

    Just curious, but did you get those from Classic Stereo back in the day? I grew up and lived in Grand Rapids for most of my life and used to love going there and checking out the gear when I was a teenager. If I were still back there, I would get them. Tempted to tell my parents to buy them and drive them out next time they come to visit.

    You can tell yourself that... but in the back of your mind you will always be left wondering. :) I think it's a good thing to be content with where you are at most of the time. Now I would have jumped on them, but that's me as I have been wanting to find a nice pair of 3.1TLs.

    Don't know about the quality of the "project" speakers he's talking about, but it looks like two pair of 2.3s for $600. One pair is the older 2.3 and the other pair is 2.3TLs. If you live in Kansas and want a couple of projects, might be a good deal.

    I contacted this guy months ago about these "project" speakers, he said he couldn't send me any pictures of the ones that were actually for sale. I gave up when he described his speakers as both pair being the 2.3 model and not 2.3TL's.

    I would proceed with caution to anyone who might be interested, just my thoughts, nothing more.
