Now... here's something you won't see everyday: a late-1960s ss Onkyo receiver with built in "triamp" - designed for a matching three way speaker system, of course :-P

The vintage Sonys are still a bit under the radar... not the greatest ss receivers ever made... but the tuners in 'em are better than average. This particular model (early 1970s) weighs a ton. -

I have this little Sherwood (7120) hooked to some Celestions in my exercise room. A low power unit, but very "sweet" with a superb tuner.

I just picked it up. Needs some cleaning on the inside. Wife said other pioneer was taking up too much room. So i saw this unit and it fits on shelf much better..she is taking college classes at SMCC in S.Portland....she enjoys listening to soft music while studying....Randy-Maine
