It's your loss if you don't believe me...
Once I get the replacement I will take pics and post my impression about the cable.

Trust me we haven't believed a word you have typed so we have lost nothing. We don't care about your impressions about that cable.
Don't go away mad JUST FREAKING GO AWAY....
Mods ban this asshat... -
I asked for FedEx shipping but he says it costs $550 or something to ship from Sweden. So I had him ship it via registered mail. One cable barely meets weight requirement (upto 5kg? or something). This works out for him cause he only had one in stock which was built recently. He is currently building the 2nd one.. takes about 2- 3 weeks. The White Night Power distributor however, took him 3 months. It is that difficult to build.

I wholeheartedly agree with this:
So true... ha ha ha:eek:Top 3 EVIL things skeptics do
1) Buy the cheapest product from a manufacturer that offers a 100% money back guarantee, never listen to it, write a long forum thread about it with pictures and videos, claim that the manufacturer's products don't improve the sound. Open a Paypal dispute and freeze their account. Get money back. Repeat with another manufacturer.
2) Spend years writing in forums, write abusively and attack everyone who doesn't agree with you. When someone claims that cables make a difference, report him to admin and try to get him banned.
3) Spam a manufacturer's Youtube channel with the same type of comments using multiple accounts. -

So curious, why come to the Polk forum? And second your name is interesting happen to live in Wisconsin? If so do you do audio meets?
I'm waiting......
or did the coconut fill you up too much? -
So the reason you couldn't get FedEx to ship it is because he wouldn't pay $550 insured shipping after selling a $50,000 shop vac hose full of tree pulp???? Haha damn this keeps getting better.

Dangit cstmar...now I want a pina colada.
sorry but I want to do an audio get together with him. I honestly would just LOVE to be able to meet someone in person that thinks buying this thing is a good idea.
Just as long as its not a dark ally and its at 2 in the morning. -
He already gave me a huge discount (introductory price) on the distributor he sent originally, which I haven't received. Shipping out another package is more expense out of his pocket. FedEx shipping is optional, I wanted it, because I need speed of electricity shipping. But that's too much to pay for just one cable... He offered me a better alternative by shipping via registered mail... he says it's as fast as FedEx or UPS priority shipping. So the reason you couldn't get FedEx to ship it is because he wouldn't pay $550 insured shipping after selling a $50,000 shop vac hose full of tree pulp???? Haha damn this keeps getting better.

I can tell you that I would be honored to have a meet with Patrick and have some coffee... to talk about cables. It is very inspiring. I'm not really interested in meeting an ordinary person like you.sorry but I want to do an audio get together with him. Is the Play Doh on the ends some kind of dampening material?

Sig material right here! -
Well, this registered mail is better than the shipping service he used last time. This requires signature upon receipt.I call BS on this. If I am having something worth $50k (whether you paid that or not), I am going to use the most reliable shipping source no matter what the cost. He didn't offer you a *better* alternative via registered mail. He offered you a cheap, far less reliable and arguably a more likely to be lost option.
When I had my 308 shipped to the buyer, I didn't ship it via "Joe's Towing Service" or UShip. I contacted a private professional exotic car shipper. One that wouldn't cram as many cars as possible into one trailer but at most would be hauling 2 other cars with each section of the trailer secured. Sure it cost more but it was also going to arrive at the new owner in the same shape it left my house in.
Same concept here. Introductory price or not, even if he only charged you $5000, I would make D^MN sure that my investment was getting the best treatment available.
But that's just me.
You can't expect cutting edge shipping service as he started his own little business. It's not a large corporation. But yes, I agree with what you are getting at.

Well, that is exactly what I was afraid of. But he says this registered shipping has lesser chance getting package lost compared to the standard shipping service he uses. So I said OK.FedEx has signature confirmation automatically over a certain insured amount. And what good is this "better" shipping service if the product never arrives? Just saying...
If this replacement package gets lost again then I'm gonna want a refund. I can't afford to wait on stuff for several months and end up not receiving it. But let's hope that's not the case.

That's funny. Then why are you talking to us ordinary people on a forum? -

I want to show to the public what I have bought and report my impressions on how it will sound. Plus I want to hear any impressions from people who own any of the high-end power cords from the large corporations like Audioquest, Wireworld, Kimber, Nordost, Synergistic Research, Shunyata Research, Ridge Street Audio, Virtual Dynamics, etc etc etc etc. That's funny. So you came to the Polk Forum? You know, there are some other forums that would have members that have used much higher end PC's and gear that those here so again, you drank too much coconut juice didn't you?
Logic was never a strong point for you was it? -
I was told that the power cord is the biggest upgrade in the audio chain. Upgrading the receiver or pre-am is unnecessary, as the power cord can outperform it depending on what you get. Also you don't need to get a $30k speakers either. From what I heard they generate more noise and hurt sound quality. You need speakers that draw low power, and use nearfield listening........all for your HT computer ? You don't find it odd that we think your odd for spending more on a power cord than your computer?
Yes I know the speaker to power cord ratio is backwards, but I am here to change that (IF I get better sound).
I did.If all you need is glowing reviews on power cords, there's this thing called Google, you'll find all you need.....and you won't have to talk to the low life around here.
But I didn't find all info I wanted to get. It's better to hear from the owners.
I thought Polk audio forum is medium-low to medium-mid life? I didn't think it's low life.
