I recall reading somewhere in the past about this $50K power cord and how it got lost in shipment from Sweden. Complete BS. Might as well ban the Cheesehead now.

We don't know if it's lost yet. Like I said it's being investigated by the International Inquiry Center. They said they will get back to him within a month.

Since I can't afford to wait this long, and not knowing if the package is lost or what, Patrick shipped out the replacement last Monday. It's your loss if you don't believe me...

Once I get the replacement I will take pics and post my impression about the cable.

How are the Nordost Valhalla and Odin power cables? Has anyone tried them? Anyone tried the Audioquest WEL Signature? These are very sexy looking cords...

Trust me we haven't believed a word you have typed so we have lost nothing. We don't care about your impressions about that cable.

I asked for FedEx shipping but he says it costs $550 or something to ship from Sweden. So I had him ship it via registered mail. One cable barely meets weight requirement (upto 5kg? or something). This works out for him cause he only had one in stock which was built recently. He is currently building the 2nd one.. takes about 2- 3 weeks. The White Night Power distributor however, took him 3 months. It is that difficult to build.

Thanks for the link. I have seen this before.

    I wholeheartedly agree with this:
Top 3 EVIL things skeptics do

    1) Buy the cheapest product from a manufacturer that offers a 100% money back guarantee, never listen to it, write a long forum thread about it with pictures and videos, claim that the manufacturer's products don't improve the sound. Open a Paypal dispute and freeze their account. Get money back. Repeat with another manufacturer.

    2) Spend years writing in forums, write abusively and attack everyone who doesn't agree with you. When someone claims that cables make a difference, report him to admin and try to get him banned.

    3) Spam a manufacturer's Youtube channel with the same type of comments using multiple accounts.
    So true... ha ha ha:eek:

So the reason you couldn't get FedEx to ship it is because he wouldn't pay $550 insured shipping after selling a $50,000 shop vac hose full of tree pulp???? Haha damn this keeps getting better.

He already gave me a huge discount (introductory price) on the distributor he sent originally, which I haven't received. Shipping out another package is more expense out of his pocket. FedEx shipping is optional, I wanted it, because I need speed of electricity shipping. But that's too much to pay for just one cable... He offered me a better alternative by shipping via registered mail... he says it's as fast as FedEx or UPS priority shipping.

I can tell you that I would be honored to have a meet with Patrick and have some coffee... to talk about cables. It is very inspiring. I'm not really interested in meeting an ordinary person like you.

I call BS on this. If I am having something worth $50k (whether you paid that or not), I am going to use the most reliable shipping source no matter what the cost. He didn't offer you a *better* alternative via registered mail. He offered you a cheap, far less reliable and arguably a more likely to be lost option.
When I had my 308 shipped to the buyer, I didn't ship it via "Joe's Towing Service" or UShip. I contacted a private professional exotic car shipper. One that wouldn't cram as many cars as possible into one trailer but at most would be hauling 2 other cars with each section of the trailer secured. Sure it cost more but it was also going to arrive at the new owner in the same shape it left my house in.
Same concept here. Introductory price or not, even if he only charged you $5000, I would make D^MN sure that my investment was getting the best treatment available.
    But that's just me.

Well, this registered mail is better than the shipping service he used last time. This requires signature upon receipt.

You can't expect cutting edge shipping service as he started his own little business. It's not a large corporation. But yes, I agree with what you are getting at.
