You're right. If you're interested, I've attached the original product brochure from 1988.

I wish I could justify buying it, but no way! :frown:

LOL, dont worry, already done some research and got the manual  Thanks for that though ..

Dan- I'd go check those out and see how they sound if it's close to you. Could flip one of the 3 for cost and rest is bonus.

Eh, CL stuff there is always wiggle room on, plus you can get them quicker than waiting on delivery....

If someone does not jump on this, I am going to buy the damn things!

    $85/shipped.

No affiliation, but I am going to get into some "tubage" (amp), and know how these will sound with tubes!

Very good bang for buck, makes me sick that I need a tube amp at the momemt, otherwise my Paypal account would take an $85 dent!

I have owned about 5 pairs in the past, and for a 5 1/2? mid/bass driver, I am not sure you can touch them for anything CLOSE to the asking price (Unreal for HT).

PS: You hang the .5's or 1.5's from the ceiling (the 1.5's have anchors built into the bottom of the speaker for just that), with the tweeters on bottom (1 foot from rear wall, 5 degrees angled down) and you just cannot touch them for SQ!
    Not for the price.

I have had a multitude of both the 1.5's and .5's (still have some 1.5's) so can offer my experience.
    Both are 90db/1m.

Now I cannot wait to mod my 1.5's!
Clarity caps in hand, I need the rest of the "recipe" including some "tubage".

Pain meds I am on + heartburn = no sleepy. I have found recently I simply cannot get to sleep as easy as I used to and I am trying not to get to used to taking Ambien or Tylenol PM to sleep.
