I have been reading a lot about these LSiM 707's and am getting ready to buy a set for 2 channel use. What would a good amp in the $2500 or less price range be to power these? Thanks.

If you're willing to pay for shipping, a free trail of above unit: http://www.wyred4sound.com/webapps/p/74030/117839/740671"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. I love the LSiM's. I've never heard the towers, but the 703's are excellent, and they definitely need to good electronics to let you hear what they're capable of.
Your budget will allow for a vast number of great amps. Are you looking to buy new or used? That's a big first consideration.
What will make up the rest of this 2-channel setup? Depending on what you have/what you have in mind, some of that money may be better spent elsewhere in the system.
Congrats on deciding to go LSiM! You'll be very happy!:biggrin:2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

You may even try biamping them as they are very power hungry and may benefit from that.

Parasound and Sunfire signature amps sounded superb on these speakers. The Sunfire's can be had well within budget and the Parasound is a bit more expensive but still within range. The Gear... Love sunfire stuff, but Adcoms always had a place in my house. It may not be the best, but you will need to blow a lot of coin to beat it, just my opinion.

A set of SX-1000 monos from W4S would fit the bill nicely...

A few solid suggestions all under your budget and available right now.
BAT VK-200, VK-220 or VK-500
Bel Canto Design Evo200.2 monoblocks
I've heard the 707's on Bel Canto, a perfect match.
Consider this integrated as well.

I ran the LSim703's off a few different things but when I connected them to our Bryston system , magic came to mind many times.
I saw this amp over on the gon , I suggest checking it out. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I will be getting a complete LSiM surround system with the 707's upfront. Any recommendations on a 7ch amp under $3000?

I use the 5 channel version for my HT. http://www.wyred4sound.com/webapps/p/74030/117839/339145"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

ATI has some multi-channel offerings. From what an Audioholics member posted the ATI 3000 series is the Mark Levinson 532H.
I guess they are under $3K if used is an option. Emotiva has some new amps out as well. Although you may need dedicated power outlet by the looks of them:eek: -
I'm running a pair of d-Sonic M2-600M monoblocks with my KEF Q900's...I can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommended. Well within your budget.

Hello...echo, echo. Nope, nothing to see here...

Hehe. Was just having some Friday fun. There are tons of amps out there under that price range. Since you are going for home theater, get an emotiva amp. Ice amps or class d, the ones in receivers, simply can't touch the bang of emotiva.
There, my Friday night suddenly became multitudes better. -

look at parasound halo series as well. Can't say about any other brand since I have no experience with them, but halo A21 is a great amp and gets me what I wanted.
