I don't know about the KEFs or the NAD but the Rega tables lists from $900 to $1100 and I would say $400 depending on condition is a steal. -

$400 appears to be the price for the whole lot, the Rega looks like it is $200. Assuming he will split, but I don't see why he would give individual prices if he wasn't willing to.

Typo on my part.:o Anyone wanting to get into vinyl cheap would be doing themselves a great service by purchasing this Rega. Upgraditis wouldn't set in for quite a while. -
In the pic it looks good(the Rega) if I had the money I'd be on it.

At that price and knowing you've been on the hunt for a turntable, I would beg, borrow or steal to get the 2 beans for that table. -
Well I'm not gonna beg. I might be able to borrow, but I don't think anyone would want to wait a year for me to pay them back. And stealing, well, I'd probably would get caught. I've been looking for thorens tt, and found a couple in that area, but at 325+ I'd think I would be better off with the rega if I could swing it. Got the Parasound set up pulling double duty between the Denon AVR and the B&K pre. The only shared source is the DVD so I can play CDs and SACDs in all of their 2ch glory. Man I love that Parasound, so much depth and detail. I can't wait until I get a little more free time to grove to some good ol' Stereo.

Those are Franken Polks. Atleast one if not both of the main drivers don't look to be stock either (especially the upper one)."Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Good eye. I didn't even notice the drivers 'cause the tweeters just jumped out at me. -

If I didn't know any better I'd say that looks like an old JBL pure titanium diaphragm tweeter that was readily available in a number of their speakers in the early 90s. What its doing in a set of Polks is beyond me. If that's what I think it is, it is actually a decent tweeter in a JBL speaker with JBL crossovers, etc. I can't even imagine what it would sound like in a set of Polks or how one would go about modifying it for such use.
But I could be wrong about my take on what this is?
