Polk Audio Monitor Series Tower speakers. Amazing sound quality and solid construction in these tower speakers. I have a pair for sale for $100. They are made of a 10" woofer, two 7" midrange speakers and a 1" tweeter on each pair. I would estimate the weight of each tower speaker at about 40 lbs- they are VERY solidly constructed. They measure 28" high 11.5" deep and 16" wide.

I actually got those last week.. Really nice and more bass extension than you would think for the size. compared to my 60s I had never heard a more natural piano sound. I was really surprised at how well they fill the room. they will be used a tv only set of stereo speakers with occasional 2 channel use of cable music channels.. all i need now is an integrated and looking to pickup the Cambridge 340 from audioadvisor when i get the cash. $400 appears to be the price for the whole lot, the Rega looks like it is $200. Assuming he will split, but I don't see why he would give individual prices if he wasn't willing to.

Typo on my part.:o Anyone wanting to get into vinyl cheap would be doing themselves a great service by purchasing this Rega. Upgraditis wouldn't set in for quite a while. -

At that price and knowing you've been on the hunt for a turntable, I would beg, borrow or steal to get the 2 beans for that table. -
Well I'm not gonna beg. I might be able to borrow, but I don't think anyone would want to wait a year for me to pay them back. And stealing, well, I'd probably would get caught. I've been looking for thorens tt, and found a couple in that area, but at 325+ I'd think I would be better off with the rega if I could swing it. Got the Parasound set up pulling double duty between the Denon AVR and the B&K pre. The only shared source is the DVD so I can play CDs and SACDs in all of their 2ch glory. Man I love that Parasound, so much depth and detail. I can't wait until I get a little more free time to grove to some good ol' Stereo.
