    The guy emailed me and said that he was offered 400 for them and to make him a higher offer as the other guy wouldn't know. I said that the 400 was too high and he should take the guy's offer.

    I hate those dang high-ballers....too bad...:(
    Course maybe the seller was just fishin too.
    I was hopin someone would get them and bring them to the GTG...hehe

    $400 isn't that bad of a deal....by my calc the whole sale/ CL price is about $495 (based upon what Hawthorn is selling theirs for, and knowing they only pay 60% of their retail asking $$)

    OH, & Ben you East-coasties ALWAYS have the great deals...i's just our turn....for a few minutes..

    I'm not really east coast... i'm in the midwest drought. It'd be better if i was in easy access to Chicago, they always seem to have SOMETHING i want.

    i think the biggest source of used audio/cool stuff is in the central and west coast. A lot of audio equipments are manufactured in that part of the country, too, which obviously lends itself to a bigger customer base there. As far as I know in NY, not many people even have a house and therefore do not have enough space to have an audio system. I do see some used stuff in GA and NJ/PA but that's nothing compared to the other parts of the US.

    Maybe it was the typo...I meant "It's just our turn..." That better?

    And to me, personally, it does seem like there are alot of deals in the NJ/ PA area...but then it might just be what I was looking at....Like the $50 RT55's someone got out there...or how many SDA's are swapped around out there...
    Just an observation, not a 'fact'...hehe

    Negating them down in Texas, cuz they seem to have a boatload of deals down there.....:D
