Selling off some items

I have decided to sell off a bunch of stuff I have accumulated since I joined here a few years ago.
These are not expensive items and it does make make much sense to spend a lot to ship/package them so local/close sale is a good idea.
I will not accept payment until you receive them, hopefully pick them up and get them home. The Denon Rec. and CDP both worked last time I used them but its been a couple years. So, I will feel comfortable accepting payment only after the buyer fires them up. I played with the remotes and they seem to work and have batteries in them :)
$150.00 for both plus shipping if we have to use that option.

The same payment arrangements apply to the Carver M-1.5t as the Denon combo. It is a perfect amp to go to one of the two Carver repair shops in the upper northwest. It runs OK but is old and caps should be replaced. If I remember correctly Bob Carver will update the M-1.5t for a flat fee of $175. which is hard to beat. The lights all work fine which is a good thing. I hope you can see the top of the unit well enough to see the marks all over the top. All it really needs is a good coat of spray paint. I was going to send it to Bob Carver myself but decided to sell it instead of bothering.
$175.00 plus shipping if we have to use that option.

I don't charge tax :p

I have more items coming up for sale like my Arcam CD72 CDP, Cambridge Audio A500 integrated amp, Ben's IC's 6' and 3', maybe a set of AQ cables too but gotta think that one over more.

does the denon player have a remote and does it play cdr's? if so, would you be willing just to sell that and ship? or, any other changers going away?

Next up is my Cambridge Audio A500 Integrated amp
This is a great little Integrated. It has a little wear which I tried to show in the pictures. Some of the lettering is worn but other than that its great. The original CA bag, remote and manual come with it of course. It has Black Diamond Racing Pyramid Cones under the unit which cost $60.00. Oh yeah the remote has some wear too but no big deal.
    $150.00 + shipping
I have final say as to who I sell this unit to. Its a steal at this price IMHO and hate to part with it. But, I am moving on and you will see what all I am moving on to in December.

The remote for the CDP works and is like new since I never used it till now while checking it out.

I am not in a hurry to any of these items and will wait for awhile for a sale if needed.

I am going to sell my Arcam CD72 soon but not sure how soon yet.

I already sold a wonderful set of Morrow Audio SP3's speaker cables/wires without even listing them. It's great how Polkies take care of one another.

Sorry for being a dope but does that mean a blank cd/cdr recorded on from the internet/itunes? If so yes I have one playing right now.
I just set the two Denons up to my SDA2a's with monster some wire and monster ICs I took out of the closet and they sound good.

I'll probably want to pick your brain about it as well if i've got the money. I haven't heard any Carver gear, and i'm halfway afraid of not liking it... kindof scared to mess with my synergy. ;)

One thing I have failed to mention is method of payment. I mentioned prior that I am in no hurry to sell any of these items and need to be absolutely certain both parties are satisfied with the deal. We'll will work out payment arrangements thru PM's if thats OK.

It's kind of like messing with women, you gotta do it

For who ever buys it I suggest sending it in for a rebuild by the X Carver employee's. It works OK now but really needs updated. That said, for the cost we are talking about it's hard to go wrong.

Too soon to tell. I'd really rather not ship it across the country at this point.

Are you willing to sell the receiver by itself?

I am in Hunterdon county about 5 miles north of 78. If you looked at a map Clinton NJ is the biggest town by me.
Since I have one guy who may want the CDP the answer is yes.

I have tried the remote for the Denon receiver this AM and the volume on the remote will not work. I even put new batteries in it. I'll keep fooling with it and may read the manual :)

To no surprise the IC's are sold. For some reason I didn't think they'd last long :)

For anyone with a Logitech Harmony remote, this won't even be an issue. I have a Denon with a very similar remote, and it's in the Harmony database, so I'd bet that one is too.

Best of luck with the selling spree, don't spend it all on that dish water stuff you like to drink!

    Thanks for the Logitech advice.

I got the Budweiser covered already.

My thought is I'll buy a set of MIT speaker cables with the money from these sales and a couple more items I intend to sell. That matched with the MIT IC's I intend on buying soon will be a great match.

Half price is cheaper than I can make them!
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Carver M-1.5t?

I think $175. for the unit and $175. for the Carver re-build is a good deal. $350. total for a re-built M-1.5t that will be like new! How can you beat that?

I think it is $195 now from Rita's shop. Still a pretty good deal.

I have all kinds of thoughts but am keeping them to myself until you say you will ship :p If you do please give me dibs or place me in line.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D
