Guys I will get those cables out ASAP. They should ship Monday or Tuesday. Dane a little help as to where they go.
    Thanks
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Good question, but I thought that was the intent, let everyone listen with the same IC and ship together in one package. But on the other hand comparing the ERC to our current player on IC's we are already familiar with the sound my be a better comparison. What's everyone else want to do?

The plan is to demo the cables and player all inclusively. We just ran into a snafu with shipping, and didn't want to delay the demo. Retro152 has been gracious enough to forego his demo of the cables to keep the ball moving.

Ray, can you let us know when you receive everything, if there is a way to include the cables in the player box without things getting too jumbled? That would save a good deal on shipping.

Will do. Should be able to do this somehow, even if I need to get a slightly larger outer box. This would be a last resort as I think for a couple different reasons it would be good to stick to the original shipping scheme/protection from EMO.

I would think there is enough open space in the inner box. Put the IC's into a ziploc bag and should be good to go, I would think...

That's what I'm thinking, but can't say for sure until I have everything in front of me.

Personally, I'd rather not demo the cables at the same time as the player. I'm already familiar with the IC's I'm using now, and demo'ing both at once is going to make the differences/improvements less clear between the CDP and the cables.

    Just my $.02

Things seem to be proceeding well...just wanted to say that I have a vested interest in this because I did contribute to the pot...late, of course. Then I was out of the U.S. for a little over and week and will be again in August....so I really had no time to participate in the Demoing, which is why I am really looking forward to those reviews...I'll probably be in China for a LONG stay by the time those are forthcoming--.

Mostly, I'll be in Beijing for about an academic year. I've lived in China before this, in the south central areas and have traveled extensively across the south and center from Kunming, Guiyang, Guilin, Nanning, Haikou, Changsha, Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong and I've been in Beijing before as well, etc.

Guy's, sorry should have posted earlier regarding this: The inner packaging is tight and set up just for the component's. But, with a little "surgery" the cable's should fit fine without compromising the player. For future reference to all, FedEx weighed in the carton at 26.10 lbs.

Thanks for the suggestion, but we are all listening with different ears, rooms, and equipment. What would the benefit be?

Not only that but most have reference material they are very familiar with to use when auditioning new equipment.

Received Ben's ICs today, FedEx tracking has the ERC scheduled for delivery tomorrow 6/30. I will keep this moving ASAP, with a short but thorough (for me) demo.
