Cat5e cable for the speakers will be included. What the hell do you use networking cable for on a set of speakers?
Makes ya go...hmmmm
Be interested to know if anyone out there knows.

A new alias for the beloved Scott Trigg?
It's possible. The registration date shows 1998, I'm doubting he would be able to keep an ID open THAT long, without ripping someone off.
Cheers

I don't know the story on this one, but one way to find out info about the seller, is to pull up one of the previous transactions from his Ebay feedback and e-mail the person who's previously purchased from him and ask them about a name or whatever "special item, term , location" that will let you know if it's "the someone you want to avoid"
Maybe this is old hat here, but I've found it to be a invaluable way of finding things out about a seller in the past.Center; CS-400i

John,
the whole cat5e thing is nothing more then a bunch of bored people looking for the cheap alternitive to buying real wire.Cat5e is about as cheap as it gets so some chump desided to create a cat5e speaker wire, braid it,put nice ends on it and fool people into believing it's great speaker wire.........try it yourself and form your own opnion........
Personally I have tried it out of sheer curosity.........results........piss poor.
Point here is use the correct cable for the correct job.Rg59 are not interconnects and cat5e isn't speaker wire. There are reasons cables get designed for there purposes..........not to be interchanged with other duties........I don't know why this is so hard to understand..........Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
Madmax,
He says in his ad......"Lafayette, Indiana."Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."
President of Club Polk -
My braided Cat5 sounds great! Cheap? Hardly, once you spend the long hours stripping and braiding. The conductors are smaller, but there can be twice as many (compared to kimber). The idea behind it is to use a similar wire geometry.
Not the best wire I own, but not the worst either. Tweek, experiment, it's all a learning process.
Cheers,

Mantis is right! It's communication cable. So what if it's teflon over individual copper strands. It probably sounds like when you call a fax line.
It might not be Trigg. This guy has positive feedback.Make it Funky!

I e-mail'd the guy to check if it was Trigg. Doesn't appear to be.
