Yep, I see it and while I don't need it at all I am considering it, but I'm also looking at another piece.

This just goes to show you can get a 1301 for about $300 :)

Well, actually, although it will only drive 8 ohm loads (so not useful in your case, as previously pointed out), you would probably be astounded at what those 30w/ch can do. It might even challenge all of your assumptions about how many watts are enough. I have had mine pushing my RT800 or RT55 speakers when I was still using it, and I never got it anywhere near the 12 o' clock position (it's an analog dial) when playing very loud (85dB) in an 18' x 14' room. It probably performs best with speakers that play down to about 35-40Hz IMO, something like the RT1000 for instance. This is because you get far more bass from your speakers with the JoLida that anyone could reasonably expect. Perhaps full range speakers would be the perfect choice, but that's beyond my current scope of experimentation. In any case, large speakers to not scare this 30w hybrid: it practically craves them IMO.

In real life, with efficient speakers (at 8 ohms), 30 good clean watts is probably all 99% of people need IMO. Those who don't agree can flame away because they probably just don't know what they are talking about and/or have never tried. In fact, it is my humble expectation that were you to put this little JoLida beside your new Cambridge, using speakers rated for 8 ohms, you might have a very hard time deciding which of the two you prefered.

Despite the small size, it also feels quite hefty too, and it's a very nice looking piece of gear as well IMO.

Price wise, Spearit Sound sell it new, with free shipping for $390 currently, so I suspect that this seller may accept the first offer for $300 with shipping included, but that's JMO.
    Alea jacta est!

Hi dc55110 I have a White Audio Labs b1 amp and have no info or specs on it... do you have any specs or ratings or manual or schematics--mode of operation info? I can find very little on the web...

Thank you very much in advance,

    David.
