I wasn't home last night so I haven't seen it. But liking Tim Urban automatically disqualifies you from having a valid opinion ;)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Lol. He was actually really good tonight. I dare say he may have had the best performance. I loves me some Crystal though and I hope she wins. She deserves it.

He he. True. Garcia and Aaron might and should be bite the dust tonight, based on their performance.

As far as your girl, she might hang on for another week, but watch for her to have a complete nervous breakdown, if she somehow ended up in the bottom three.

I think Katie and Andrew gone tonight...although I liked Andrew. I thought his Jazzy voice fit the song, and I'm not sure it was a good performer for him. He just doesn't seem like an Elvis guy. That's why I dont' like them forcing song choices or genre's on people. On a side note, I thought Adam Lambert was great. I prefer the straight shooter. I like how he told Andrew beforehand, "It's boring"...and what did the judges say..."It's boring". I dig it.

Thank god Andrew's gone. Sorry but he was a one hit wonder and he used it up to get into the show and then never did a damn thing worth listening to a second time. Worthless... period. Nice guy, decent voice, god awful performer. Go home and enjoy your 15 minutes with your family. Next...

I just finally watched tuesday's show last night. I'm sticking by my guns. Tim Urban to win it. I AM disappointed that he didn't take Lambert's advice during his one on one, though, and didn't do any falsetto work. From what i heard in that short clip, the kid has a GREAT high range. But he's sounding better and better every week now.

Andrew, i really liked him, but i just don't think he was ever comfortable with what the show was asking of him. He seems like he could be a great artist, but more of an Indie guy rather than the mainstream stuff they were forcing upon him.

So by "great" high range, you mean his falsetto would kill babies? Cuz I'm pretty sure that's the actual truth.

Tim Urban was actually pretty good last night, and "mediocre and attractive" tends to be what gets people far in this show, so concealer is probably right about his winning, but he sure as **** doesn't DESERVE to win.

Tim's singing wasn't great...his song and performance were very good. His vocal was mediocre. He didn't sing one phrase that whole song..."But I...(Breath) Can't...(Breath)...Help (Breath) falling in love (Breath) with (Breath) You (Breath). You get the pictures. What happened to the good old days when Kelly Clarkson got out there and actually Sang, and amazed. Now it's not a singing competition anymore. When you have people who haven't been out once with JUST their voices, and they're playing guitars, pianos, etc. it turns into a performance competition. May as well give EVERYONE the same song, have them all do it, and see who does it the best. Which reminds me...I hate Casey. He's a very good performer, but his voice just isn't great. His guitar playing is great, his performances are borderline great, but I guess it works since it isn't a singing compeition anymore

    <End Rant>

I agree that he doesn't deserve it. But the people who did are already voted off because America wouldn't know talent if it bit them in the junk.

I have the same feelings about him. Completely mediocre voice, good performer, and a seriously talented guitar player. He needs to be in a rock band, not a solo artist.

Out of the bunch, I actually think Lee should win. he seems to be someone that I think has the most voice potential and current. But what do I know...

The rest are good singers, except perhaps one screamer... :p

I like Casey. Good bluesy voice, great guitar chops.
Still can't buy Lee. Getting better, but just not my cuppa.
Crystal's good. Ought to win it; don't know that she will.
Siobhan's a hoot. She won't win, but I'm always interested in what she'll do next.
I like Mike. Nice smokey voice & always solid.
Aaron's good (yeah, for 16 yr. old) & is probably next for the axe.
Oops. Forgot Tim. Would like to continue doing so.

All in all, the worst season I've seen. But can't help watching.

Well not in the true "Pop" sense of other idol contestants Crystal can sell a boat load of records to all those people who like high quality, honest music.

That's a lot of people who grew up on classic rock and now listen to adult contemporary etc.

She is good enough that they shouldn't have to ruin her and make her sing a bunch of crappy songs with cheesy cliches and electronic voice overs.

Lee, outside of not have a super stage presence has the best voice after Crystal.

spin, another tormented musical soul locked in the mortality of a body's angst......, how many votes is that worth......still, she sure can sing and perform, once they get done making her over a bit, seems she is a winner, too bad she came along so late in the music business, if she would start drinking, smoking and cussing a true Joplin clone.

She never really wanted to be on teh show in the first place, she just did it (if I remember from the audition rounds) because her family begged her to. I can see her getting fed up REAL FAST with the HOllywood mentality.

I am in love with Crystal Bowersox. Another outstanding performance tonight. One of the only Idol contestants to "move" me. She has sooooooooo much natural talent and it seems to come so easily. As commercial as Idol is, Crystal is the real thing and I hope they don't try to change her too much when she wins.

Bowersox sure cleaned up those yellow teeth from the beginning of the season. Kind of reminds me of a cross between Tracy Chapman and Bonnie Raitt. The only other one there worth a darn is Lee. Glass blower girl has lost her luster. Overall season talent is low but Yellow Teeth and Lee make up for the lack of rest. Got to give props to my fellow St. Petersburger Big Mike. And Johnny Lang Jr will make it on the blues circuit but not on the pop charts. Just my opinion.

Josh Stone and Jeff Beck made American Idol seem so 5th grade.
