They originally said we'd just get rain (Goldsboro). We are right on the line. This morning they said that things have changed since last night. Now, they're saying a possibility of 2" to 4" of snow. We get so little, that I love it when we can get some. Don't want ice though. Western part of state (Greensboro, Charlotte, etc.) has a possibility of up to 13", according to weatherman.

For those of us in the ice belt, I'd recommend raising your t-stat, just as a buffer if you lose pwr.

We got jack in Charlotte. A flurry or two and VERY light frozen rain that lasted......oh, about 5 minutes......otherwise? It's just cold. Apparently 12-17 miles north, there's a different story.

Lightman1 is out right now peeing in as many yards as he can.

I bet we have 8 or 9 inches and it is still coming down hard. Best snow in years.
Love it and can't wait to play outside with the kids tomorrow!!!

8 inches so far and sleet is still coming down. Only 30,000 customers out system wide. Nothing major.....yet.

I woke up to a little surprise this morning. We actually did get snow! That's the good news. The bad news is now it has turned to freezing rain and you know what that means......ICE. Them Duke Power boys are gonna earn their keep this week. I hope it stops soon as I'm not that big fan of ice storms.

We played outside all day and I shoveled some snow. I'd say we got 8" to 10" easy. Now time to build a fire and relax.

We weren't supposed to get any and there's 4" of fluffy snow out there.
