QOTD: Would you buy a FIAT?

    Nope, no FIAT for me!

    I don't really have a whole lot against the brand per se, if they have decent reliability (every car I have ever owned has been reliable, even those with mediocre Consumer Reports ratings, so I expect that), but I just see no reason to buy one instead of a VW or a Mini Cooper, or some of the Japanese small cars. Every Fiat I have ever travelled in has had flaws that would not attract me to the brand, but as has been pointed out: there are plenty of happy buyers in some countries. Similarly, I have never sat in a single U.S. made small to mid-size car that I would ever buy, even at a 30% discount to a comparable VW.

    Styling wise, this 500 strikes me as a worthy enough contender, much like the Citro
