Keiko - The large envelope was at my door today, thanks very much. I especially like the vinyl to CD transfers you sent, nice work. I'll get some closer ear time on them later but my favorite Cars album was a pleasure.

This ebay seller has a CD archive of polk literature. S/he seems to do this as a business, with many other brands as well.

This is still active and if you folks see any vintage Polk literature on eBay, Craiglslist or otherwise, please let me know. Just link it here and I'll check it out.

I buy these out of pocket so if you see anything cheap and original, mainly brochures and feel like donating to the Polk museum....it's certainly appreciated. They have been awful in their historical record keeping and I'm trying to get as much original stuff archived, PDF'd, scanned and burned to a CD.

When all is said and done I'll burn 100 copies and they will be FREE to the first 100 members who ask for it. It will hopefully contain every available document that was ever printed in regards to Polk Audio products.

That's down the road but hope it's an incentive for you folks to be on the lookout.

    Thank you - Mark
Sounds good. I'll keep an eye out.

Despite your past rude behaviour toward me I took the time to scan this for you. Hope that you like it. Guessing that it is from 1983. Complete product line in a 24 page brochure. Low resolution version in order to submit to CP.

Ps. Love the irony of *you* posting a wtd in the fs section.

Just glancing at that brochure gives me a feeling that there should be much pride to be a Polk employee. Time flies, if you noticed Mathew Polk looks like a young puppy on that brochure :)

I didn't realize anyone was making in-wall speakers back in the early 80s. Cool to see that Polk was ahead of its time.

We should consider moving all this info to a sticky in the Vintage section.
