I'm interested in any manufacturer original product brochures you may have laying around and unused. I like to collect them for my files and figure I'd ask. If you want a few bucks as well, no problem, let's work something out.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I like 'em on paper too... I know this isn't what you're looking for, and it's probably a waste of bandwidth to mention this... but (on the off-chance you didn't know already), there are some dandy on-line resources for those of us who "like to watch" :-)

I'll look around, but I cleaned house awhile ago. You're looking for glossy promo type lit. right? Not nec manuals, etc.

    I have:

Model Seven Bookshelf Monitor System: Not a brochure; more like a setup sheet. No drawings. Includes the following sections:
    -Inspecting for Shipping Damage
    -General Description
-Connecting the speakers to your amplifier or receiver
-Positioning your model 7 in your room
    -Service
    -Limited Five-Year Warranty.

Issue #11 of The Audio Advisor AUDIOGRAM (6/78)

Probably not the original, but a copy issued by Polk. It's the reveiw of Polk's SoundCable. Pretty cool.

Let me know if you DON'T HAVE THEM and I'll ship them.

You are now. About 15-20 years ago I threw out two, tall, file cabinets full. You should've spoken up earlier.

I think I have a glossy version of the RTA 8T, 11T, 15T lineup brochure. Two pages front and back, something like that. I'll look. I recently came across it and thought, why am I saving this, I sold those years ago. Let me know if you still need that one.

Jawhog - Sure, thanks much. Make sure you give me your mailing address and I'll send you some silly Polk stuff.

I'll send my info to both of you.

I still have LOADS of Stereo Review and Audio, from the late 60's through the early 80's. In some cases, almost the entire year's worth of issues. It's all wrapped in plastic out in the GArage.

Sorry for robbing the thread :-P

Not really any sources for service docs besides the above. Harman/Kardon is a pretty good source, but they're not as easy to find online as their owners manuals (for which there is an excellent online archive at www.harmankardon.com ).

One source of some service docs is www.hifiengine.com and its sister site www.vinylengine.com (Registration is required for both of them)

Back to your regularly scheduled topic! :-)

This is still active and if you folks see any vintage Polk literature on eBay, Craiglslist or otherwise, please let me know. Just link it here and I'll check it out.

I buy these out of pocket so if you see anything cheap and original, mainly brochures and feel like donating to the Polk museum....it's certainly appreciated. They have been awful in their historical record keeping and I'm trying to get as much original stuff archived, PDF'd, scanned and burned to a CD.

When all is said and done I'll burn 100 copies and they will be FREE to the first 100 members who ask for it. It will hopefully contain every available document that was ever printed in regards to Polk Audio products.

That's down the road but hope it's an incentive for you folks to be on the lookout.

    Thank you - Mark

    Mark,
Is there a specific time period you are looking for or just any brochure and/or literature? I have some brochures from past Hi-Fi shows that I have attended, that I would be willing to part with. If this is the type of stuff you are looking for drop me a PM with your address and I will send your way. :)
