    John, don't even bother. When I inquired about them +2 weeks ago he wanted to show me receipts/etc. for what he paid. I showed him links on ebay and F/S threads here to show him todays market price new/used. He wouldn't budge even though I was seriously interested in his speakers.

    Just for sh!ts and giggles, I should email him again. But seriously the last time I heard from him was when he sent me a link to KINGPINAV's ebay ads of their speakers' excellent condition, after that I just told him to go eat **** and die.

    I understand that in reality something is only worth how much someone is willing to pay for it. If your an idiot like him and pay extra more than fine, thats what you thought they were worth, but no one is ever going to buy your crap if you are clearly above market value and the market doesn't justify what you are selling it for.     haha i responded to him saying I'll take them and even told him if he would ship them I'll pay for that too. I doubt he is serious on this. but that is pretty dumb, he gets all mad but when you show him the facts umm yeah, he has really nothing to be mad about.

    The true beauty of local craigslist deals is you never know who is going to show up for the deal...neither the buyer or the seller. All you Chicago guys had to do is have someone else email/call him....act naive as hell...saying how glad they were to finally have found these LSi9's locally ...agree to him that they have seen them sell for more money and were glad to pay his asking price.

    Mr " I have more money then I know what to do with " would have been peeling rubber to meet these buyers anywhere for the deal. Funny thing is the naive ready to fork out the cash buyer doesnt show up to the agreed parking lot for the deal.....the guy ( Or take your pick in this instance...he has told you all the same thing ) he has told to **** off numerous times shows up. Remember, he has never seen any of you...doesnt know what you drive...and if just emails has no clue what you sound like or look like...doesnt know you from Adam.

    They will smile , shake your hand.....you check out the item they are selling ( Actually you dont give a damn, you are just checking the vehicle for easily accessed weapons ;) ) Then you casually ask if they make it a habit of telling people to **** off ?

    Not worth even close the $1000
    $500 would be pushing it... That's a nice sub though. I believe those subs were known for their amplifiers failing, however.
