OK, so it's great and all about giving presents to others/family/etc., but what's the present that you plan to give yourself this year?

I'm looking to upgrade my screen from 60" to 73" and also getting a new gym membership.

Let's hear em - what's "Santa" for sure bringing you this year?

why not go all out and join the 90" screen or larger club. Keep the 60" for daytime viewing, fire up the front PJ and screen for movies. That's the true HT experience.

That's atleast another year out - but still on the horizon...the upgrade from the 60inch stems from the fact that someone may be buying it - giving me the necessary headroom to purchase the larger screen! :D

My gift to myself was sending in my Sunfire amp for repair two months after I bought it.

The previos owner just got it back from Ritas' 1 week before I bought it.So it's repair only lasted two months and its 1 yr. warranty is not transferable?

Come on...I hope they see the problem was with what they just fixed and don't charge me to do it again. I'll let you guys know later on.

I'm thinking of upgrading my TT. New DC motor and speed controller, two suspension upgrades and some accessories. Or, maybe not. Maybe I'll be cheap this year and just buy some new socks that don't have holes in them. :)

I'm trying to convince everyone in my family to get me Frys gift cards. Hopefully I'll get enough help from gift cards that i'll be able to replace my Onkyo.

NOTHING to do with A/V gear. I'm buying some new backpacking gear for the upcoming year...primarily a new backpack and tent.

Do the new socks you buy usually have holes? ;)

As cheap as it sounds, I hope the dogs get me some socks and undershirts. ( Willow and now Rudy usually get my wife and I little gifts)

Many years ago I had my tank go dry because the landlord told me that it was full. The oil company charged me $700 for an emergency delivery. Thieves.
