ahh...i searched in this section but not the clubhouse. I agree with what they said about the ending though. But at the same time, other than just letting him stay in jail for the rest of his life, I'm not sure of how they could've ended it and it still being believable.

I thought Jamie Foxx displayed his usual poor acting skills and scrunched up Renee' Zellweger face a dozen times. I actually wanted the ending to be the opposite of the actual ending but that's just me. It was ok and I'm glad I have Netflix.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I don't think you were the only one that wanted the "other" ending. I'm sick of The Man always winning.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Great movie!"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

I enjoyed it, but found the overall premise to be very similar to that of the one in Fracture, and as far as a witty, planned out game of chess against the courts, I thought Fracture was infinitely better.George Grand wrote: »

I didn't see it, but on the trailer I think he said "It's going to be biblical" , not epic. -
Watched the features...originally they wanted Butler to play the DA and Foxx to play Clyde. Foxx didn't want to do it, but asked if Butler would switch. He said, Hell yeah...much more interesting character. The the movie was ok. My wife loves Butler...has since he did Attila the Hun, a TV miniseries about 10-12 years ago. He's always done intense pretty well...course he's a hunk of meat too, so the girls like him. We must have watched Phantom of the Opera on BD 5 or 6 times (I quite like his version). He's popping up everywhere now.

Didn't really like this one. Not that movies have to be believable to be entertaining or interesting, but I thought it bordered on silly at times.
Did he only learn his killing skills over that 10 year span, or was he a killing machine (or a machine using killer) from the very beginning? If the first, that's far fetched to go from common housedad to vicious world-reknown CIA killer. If the latter, why would a badass like that not have a basic security setup at his house?
Also, how would Gerard not be able to testify against the real killer? The guy that hits someone on the head with a bat gets the death penalty, the guy that stabbed, raped and killed people gets 3 years?
Stuff did blow up, which is neato, but I thought the plot and acting were both rather poor.
Watchable Popcorn killing flick - yes. Good movie - no. YMMV.Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand
