I don't remember exactly what happened, but i kindof doubt that it really had anything to do with quitting. :p

Believe me, nicotine withdrawal is very painfull and while it drives you crazy it can drive others crazy too! I don't know him much but for the odd posts I've seen from him, he never seemed out of line???

I didn't see him out of line either. But he MUST have said some bad stuff to somebody for it to happen. I was really hoping for his success .He got past the hardest two weeks!

+1, it usually takes a good reason for Polk to ban a member. I hope he still hangs in there and succeed... smoking is really crappy, you are a slave of it.

    Cheers!

No ****. I have been a smoker since I was 15. Now I am near the age to kick the bucket anytime and the nicotine withdrawl is a ****.

You are talking abt some 40/50 years of inhaling the **** and it stays and build up in your blood stream, that's bad ****.

My problem is annual physical check up,the X-ray show my lungs perfectly clean ( could be an error of reading from these internship chicks) so after many attempts to quit, I give up. The freaking old man like me have to have something to enjoy since the stairways to heaven is within the visual distance.

I wish him well and stay off the ****.

When they ban some one why do they keep the reason a secret? I just re read all his posts on this thread I didn't see anything offensive.

I don't know if the question is/was for me anyway... I've been a smoker for close to 40 years and I've been trying to quit every (at least once a year for the past 5 years) year for many years (maybe last 20 at random) unsuccessfully. As I pointed out, likely I've been trying the electronic smoke (epuffer) successfully (I think I've been on this for a month now). The big test will be the Xmas parties (shop this week and family on the 25th) I guess if I can go through them without smoking I should be OK. The next step will be to diminish the amount/level of nicotine used with epuffer until 0 level. Lets hope this works this time around and once for all???

    Cheers!
