    He said I should spend the money on more audio, I was just saying that I am getting the room ready for a really nice receiver lol. Just want to finally get everything they way I want it...........................and than in a year and a half move out.

    Funny stuff here,but I thought the same thing. Maybe it has more to do with paint,a pioneer elite,and chicks. Obviously the way the room is now,the chick thing isn't working.:)

    Why are you paying for the paint, its your parents house, they should pay! Oh I forgot they already have....:D

    I think you need to ditch the carpet first. Then pick out a paint color. Why waste money on paint trying to match some terrible carpet?

    So, did you ever bid on that Pioneer on Ebay?

    Na I am getting a pioneer premier off here much better model the Pioneer Elite VSX-56TXi

    Also not planing on spending that much for new carpet so just changing the wall color is all I am after.

    Among other things yes I was hit by a car but the color things a science about each in relation to the 5 internal organs . Ever wonder why you like girly magazines and the color blue?

    Instead of painting, get some can or track lights and light her up a little better

    Ok, then why not go fairly neutral and paint your walls a Khaki color. You could also blend in some accent walls to make it pop.

    +1 to the poster who talked about mood soothing colors. I fully believe in that as well. I think the colors of your walls can really affect your mood. Ever wonder why dining rooms are usually a red color? That is supposed to promote hunger. Pink is soothing, not that you would paint your walls pink, but studies have shown that pink walls in prisons tend to calm the prisoners.

    Khaki is a light tan/sandstone color...

    and yes a dark color behind you TV would make the wall disapear when watching it

    I think that is what I am going to do! I am going to pick up some color probably tomorrow. Now the sandstone color more of a orange or a yellow or just look and see what they got.
