Not sure if it's your camera or my monitor but your OP looked like a pastel blue walls and a battleship grey color carpet. Take some pics when you're done, as your color chips are off as well.

One more thing, I hope you budgeted in some money for speaker wire for your surrounds.:p

It is your monitor drop the brightness down a lot and there are the closer colors ot what they are. My camera did not take those pics either it came off a website.

That could be directed at quite a few posters in this thread.

I would like to say it's probably directed at me but I haven't posted here yet.

I have had my girl in her she said it was "beachy" LOL but I want something that is like relaxing when I get to painting everything is being gone threw and anything that is not needed is gone. Also putting the rear speaker way back and cleaning things up might get rid of the desk and get a nice tv stand. I am more worried about the HT aspect of this than the room thing.

Try Benjamin Moore...Chestertown Buff, it's a gold color, that goes well with green, and it's very neutural, rich and sofisticated.....your girl will love it.
Or...BM. Nantucket Grey, it has a slight greenish tint to it.

I painted homes for a business for a few years.

Go a Sherman Wiallams store and look at the Martha S paint collection. She has many many color combinations that work well together. You can't go wrong with any of them.

I forgot this also. They also make a prmium paint for a few extra $. It is well worth it because it is easier to spread and flows much better. Makes you look good.

You don't need to tell anyone that Martha S picked out your paint colors however.
