Rember that phrase? 15,000,000 dollars per day x 365 days per year x2,000 years will pay off the current national debt.(good luck Obama) Guess we all better learn to speak chinese, what a somber thought.

The same "they" said that 10yrs ago. The global economy is hurting, not just the US.

My statement is reality. Our country is in severe debt. If we say nothing ,it will bury us.I'm very concerned that Washington is in the dark as to what to do to resolve this. We've got to pressure them into motivation.

This doesn't necessarily have to turn into a political thread....

Opportunities are there for US companies in China to sell their wares....i.e. GM's Buick is a big seller in China. However, I think the management of many US companies are too shortsighted and will eventually sell out their US resources (human resources and otherwise) to less inexpensive off-shore operations as soon as the opportunity arises to make a bigger profit. Loyalty to your employees? How much does that worth?

Do you really think theres a person on this forum that does NOT know how much debt were in?

This is NOT the place for this. It is in the rules...NO POLITICS.

If you cant follow those simple rules, your stay here will be short.

It's harsh reality that employees aren't much more than tools of necessity, who are more and more being replaced by automation. Good for business not for us. The I watch your back you watch mine attitude,or sticking together seems lost. And what does the gov't think about us? Well you spend more time in jail for tax evasion tnan for murder! Money is more valuable than human life to them.
