Yes, awsome electronic heartquake generator
Such a huge system in such a small room, unbelievable
Haha, well I learned a long time ago that a small system just wasnt going to cut it.
You would be surprised that is far harder to get volume in a small vs. a big room...
In my room, most of the sound skips right over at times and I actually have to turn it up LOUDER to get volume.
If I were to put this system in a big room - it would be far louder...
hehe, but indeed- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Have you tried any room treatments?

Dead effn sexy, Trey. I'll do a drive-by on my route and see if I can feel them from the street.

I have panels at the first reflection points and behind the seating position. I am contemplating adding more, but I find some of the problems go away with cables and better components... so I am waiting for my new CDP in the coming months before I add anymore.
Most definitely Russ, you are always welcome.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Schweeeet set up.
How does it compare to the new D line your recently had? -
Thanks man!
That is kind of a hard question - the D2 had a single midrange/bass driver in a sealed enclosure. With a 7" woofer below and above this arrangement. So the mids had alot of accuracy, but hardly any weight. The bass was very 3 dimensional, probally due to the driver above the mid drivers...
The combo I have now is very different. With FOUR midbass drivers per speaker, I get some crazy awesome midbass I absolutely love. (I'm a midrange ****). Now to mention that millenium tweeter is superb. I would say staging wise, they are similar - but the tonal qualities of the Linbrook/Taylo series is more my bag.
I also like how I can control the bass now vs the D2 I could not. Thats one of the reason I do not like having bass drivers in my mains. The D2 was kind of a weird decision for me since I do not like this atribute. I think the cool design got me! LOL
But I am very happy... just need a room.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Do the cabinets you have the subs in have any fill or sound dampining inside?
Did you build them yourself?Man Cave: 7.1

The cabinets I am sure have some sort of fill in them. Most designs do.
And I had Ty at Tyler Acoustics build them. I have fallen in love with his products and I love the way most of his stuff sounds... and he can do a far better job than me.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
