    Thats CALM for me.

Remember when I had dual largers?

Four 15" woofers, dual 12" woofers all in one room that size. With about 1000 watts of continuous power.

    THAT was insane. But overkill.

    This will be perfect!

These will complete my setup nicely - even better when Klaus comes through with the new CDP.

Congrats! It's so much nicer to run stereo subs for 2ch. Despite what most people say, stereo subs make a difference in 2ch. I can detect which side the bass is coming from even @ 40hz. I think it has something to do with a more equal distribution.

How tall are your towers? They look quite tall. Where are the subs going?

The towers are 5 ft tall.

The subs are going on the inside - one beside each tower, you can see where i laid out the cables for them already...

I figure this will get them away from the wall.

    Thanks for all the comments

I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who uses the TV for the computer. You just might be the right person to ask. Do you remember the transformer that looked like Optimus, But was white. I have him with the trailer, But I can not remember his name.

I hope not. Not with those woofers at least.

Yellow is sealed, the grey line is ported in a 3 liter box.

You might want to check the box size on the ported one. 3 liters is like a tenth of a cubic foot. That would be like a 12x12x1.25 inch box. Think you might have meant a 3 cu.ft. box unless those are like some ultra slim drivers. If that's the case I'll STFU. Not trying to sound rude. Just say that a I knew 3.8 l is 1 gal. (see it all the time in public restrooms on the toilets.) For grins for a sealed box try a qtc of .5 in win isd and see what it yields for low end. Usually .707 is the best compromise between flatness and low end response. I have seen a few drivers when plugged into win isd with a qtc of .5 dig a little deeper(very rarely though, YMMV.

I'd say congrats on the subs, but I'm jealous. I guess I can say If you decide to throw them away just make sure you chuck them all the way up to mid-Michigan.

Nice, you have all the reasons to be excited. I guess you miss heart quake in your area and you want to create artificial ones to compensate :D

Now, what would be the difference using stereo subs? What would be the benfits?

    Cheers :)

Stereo subs have no cancelations (different signals) - same benefit of having stereo speakers.

The subs have a MASSIVE rear firing port.

And the "White Optimus" is Ultra Magnus.

Have you tried the Milenium or the Revelator?

Im finding in that range of tweeters, the characteristics are very similar.
