I received mine today. We put it on some crusty Italian bread with some extra virgin olive oil and tomato . . . yuuuuummmmmie. It tasted like thicker sliced of Prosciuto de Parma.

Thanks NotaSuv for the fine meal.:)

Received mine yesterday and just happened to have some crusty bread from the prior nights italian sausage feast.Pretty good stuff, much like Italy's,and as Joe said, thicker.I still prefer the italian version as it seems more moist, thinner, and more versatile for use with other foods.Good stuff none the less and a a big thankyou for this tasty treat.

That's how I serve it too (never straight from the refrigerator), but I don't bother with the bread or other garnishings. I find it interferes with the taste of the ham.

When you guys are describing it as thicker, was it already sliced?
