Urgent! Possible CP Security Issue?

I am having trouble viewing a thread. I get redirected to this URL:

http://offto.net/1support

The message on the web page reads like this:

You have been redirected…
Please support our forum (hosting cost…) by taking quick survey (click continue…).
Thank you friend!
Continue…

This happened while following the first two posts of new member 4chanman

http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/member.php?u=98882

I did however, notice this, in the content of the message he posted in the thread I was trying to view:

[meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH"] [content="0; url=http://offto.net/1support">]

I added the [???] to break up the link, in case it might mess up this thread too.

Notice the resemblance to the redirect page? Anybody know how best to alert CP administrators about this? I'm going to attempt to report the offensive post right now too, if I'm able.

    Unable to pull up those messages to report them.

    He's posting that mysterious hidden text in all his newer messages (three of them thus far).

    Yes! The 4chanman is using scripts to redirect to another site! I've reported him. Please ignore the 4chanman messages.
    Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone. :redface::biggrin:

    Well done. I also noticed that his redirect was slower on that thread where you reported him. It was immediate in the other thread where I first noticed it.

    I also PM'd dorokosai and Patrick C, so hopefully that will do the trick!

    This, on top of everything else going on the past few days, is going to give our valiant administrators & co. a sore head!

    Patrick, I noticed that he was banned within about an hour, or less, from when this thread was first posted, and the threads he had compromised started getting locked up at the same time.

    Thanks for a job well done, and don't forget to give doro a peck on the cheek if he helped you out in any way!

    P.S. On further reflection, maybe you should forget the peck thingy ... Yuck!
