MY GOD....

I will provide no spoilers so I will just say this, if you are any kind of Star Trek fan, this is a fantastic movie. Once it's out and people see it, I will then leave a mini review.

The more previews that come out for this movie, the better it looks! Im a huge Star Trek (original and TNG) fan so Ive been waiting for this for a while.

At first I thought they were going to screw it up but it doesnt look that way and from what I hear, its not that way. Cant wait!

It's on my list of "Must See in Theater" flick.

Nothing like watching Syler turns into Spock....:) I always thought Syler is a Vulcan.

How long is the movie, Dan?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I don't know how long but the movie starts out exciting and never quits. It's not over done or anything, just solid story telling and a good mix of action. Very well written story, I'm so into it.

I'm there for it but probably won't get to it till next week. Huge fan, I grew up with the Kirk Meister...and Spocky. Have followed all the spin-offs. TNG, STV, DS9, even Enterprise. My daughter thinks I'm a geek...do I have to say anymore?

Thanks for the heads up, and no spoilers, mantis.

There was some of that in the movie. Classic lines but not cameo style. The way they worked it in was fresh and classic. I liked it a lot. You knew who Bones was before he introduced himself to Kirk.

Glad to hear that you liked it, and thanks for not dropping any spoilers. If it passes by a fan's approval, then that's good news. I've gotten halfway through TNG, watched a handful of Enterprise episodes, and even fewer from the original series. So with TNG, I've been very impressed with the writing and yes, the intellectualism.

Of course I won't compare a full-length film to the density of a TNG episode, but it still needs to stay true to roots, which it seems to, based on their writing and directing. I can't wait for this Friday!

A hyperdrive is a component of Imperial Star Destroyers, not those insignificant ships of Starfleet... The Borg are nothing more than enhanced Storm Troopers, and they do MY bidding....
