I think it's disrespectfull and boarderline rude behavior from some of you. This nice lady and her husband have an accident that garners world wide attention and they pick clubpolk to share their 15mins and the word 'troll' comes out??
Elaine, I wish I lived in your area, I'd love to take you and the husband out for coffee, a beer and a nosh and hear the whole tale.
Craig
Yeah, some of you people are just too suspicious !!!

Those were all we got I'm sure there are ALOT more out there, everyone was taking pictures! From the firemen, aid unit and the state patrol....everyone had their cameras out and of course many, many driving by and taking pics with their camera phones LOL...
And yes, RKNHRSE is exactly what you said it was I've had that license plate for probably going on 15yrs? I originally got it for my 65 Mustang Fastback (had to sell it ) and I've collected rockinghorses for thirty +years.
And yes, my husband was able to drive the Santa Fe off the Lambo, it made an awful noise and the Lambo driver was able to drive his up on the tow truck
My Santa Fe is now in the shop, lots of under-carriage damage but it's all fixable and the Lambo will be on it's way back to splendor soon -
How did this happen? Did he let off the clutch too fast? I've got 10 bucks riding on this.......

Good to hear that you and your family were all ok. That's the important thing. Bet that was a bit of a shock...you could probably barely see the Lambo in your mirror before it was underneath you, let alone after...lolHow did this happen? Did he let off the clutch too fast? That would be my bet. If I had a Lamborghini, I think I would make a point of not letting things like that happen...lol...Oh well, it was probably just one of his Lamborghini's.

Great to hear no one was hurt...but I have to tell you that I was in a much more serious accident than this, through no fault of my own. I shouldn't even be here! That's how bad my car looked. CRUSHED,anyone but the driver DEAD....fortunately I was alone.
Welcome to CP....it was hard to believe this post was for real so I must admit I waited to respond.

If this happened to me, I'd be delighted that nobody got injured and that the damage, apparently, is not too serious, not to mention the great conversation topic ... not thinking "now who can I blame and/or sue for this and how much could I get out of it if I 'get the right attorney'?".Alea jacta est! -

Am I the only one that thinks that this kind of mentality is to blame for our ridiculous insurance costs (partially, at least)? No offense to you personally, nooshin, but that almost "knee jerk" reaction and statement just strikes me as a symptom of how some might claim that our values as members of society are going down the crapper.

Agreed 1000%. The "sue happy" mindset of our general population is a big problem. So what if I burned myself on my coffee at McDonalds? I guess next time I'll remember that it's hot.:rolleyes:The nirvana inducer-

Lol. You know that lady actually won that lawsuit because McDonalds had the coffee served at an excessively hot temperature to the point of being able to burn skin within seconds. In fact, that's what happened. She burned herself on the coffee and required surgery to repair the burnt skin. Also, she actually wanted to settle the lawsuit, but McDonalds refused to pay for the surgery, which is basically what she was going for.SDA 1C, SDA 2A, SDA SRS 2, CMT-340SE, Swan M200MKII, Swan D1080MKII, Behringer MS40

No, they did not serve the coffee excessive hot. It was between the normal standards that a nation coffee association had set.

Hey look! Facts! http://www.lectlaw.com/files/cur78.htmMcDonalds also said during discovery that, based on a consultants
advice, it held its coffee at between 180 and 190 degrees fahrenheit to
maintain optimum taste. He admitted that he had not evaluated the
safety ramifications at this temperature. Other establishments sell
coffee at substantially lower temperatures, and coffee served at home is
generally 135 to 140 degrees.
Further, McDonalds' quality assurance manager testified that the company
actively enforces a requirement that coffee be held in the pot at 185
degrees, plus or minus five degrees. He also testified that a burn
hazard exists with any food substance served at 140 degrees or above,
and that McDonalds coffee, at the temperature at which it was poured
into styrofoam cups, was not fit for consumption because it would burn
the mouth and throat. The quality assurance manager admitted that burns
would occur, but testified that McDonalds had no intention of reducing
the "holding temperature" of its coffee. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
