that was in the accident with the Lamborghini  Most of you are right, we didn't hit anything (the Caravan) in front of us, and again, you're right in we didn't at first know what "hit" us, cause it wasn't a typical "rear-end" accident, not harsh inpact, was almost smooth KWIM? Then we remembered that the Lambo was behind us  The owner of the Lambo is/was very nice, (what I know of him chatting on the side of the hwy:p) I think for all of us, it just happened all too fast  My husband and I are just amazed that "our" accident has made National News  We're just simple people from the Everett (Seattle) area LOL ;)

Why does the owner pick a PolkAudio forum? Its national news... yet comes to post about it in a PA forum? Hmmm...something smells fishy to me :) But what do I know.

Welcome, fellow paranoid MidWest guy ! :) (and I DO mean that in a good way).

I was thinking the same thing. If you google "Lamborghini vs mini van accident", though, the ONLY return is for here at Polk Audio !!

"Lamborghini vs mini van accident" is the thread title started by Danger
    Boy ( http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81850 )

So, maybe SantaFeGal "googled" "LVMVA" and ..... Voila !! We show up !!

Let that be a lesson to everyone on the dangers of "googling" ..... you never know who or what will show up.

Well, I know that that is my car ;) and I didn't google Lambo vs mini van....cause the Santa Fe isn't a mini van (can't stand those) it's an SUV ;) I googled Lamborghini santa fe crash and got a whole list of sites that had our accident. As for where the crash was is going S on I5 just past the main Marysville exit about mile marker 168ish., we were in the fast lane..anymore personal than that there is no way I'm posting that here. I do have some more pictures, but have no idea how to post here?
And....this was the only "forum" that I found when I searched? ;) and I found your "con
versation" interesting :) My husband and I are quite in awe of this whole situation?

I think it's disrespectfull and boarderline rude behavior from some of you. This nice lady and her husband have an accident that garners world wide attention and they pick clubpolk to share their 15mins and the word 'troll' comes out??

Elaine, I wish I lived in your area, I'd love to take you and the husband out for coffee, a beer and a nosh and hear the whole tale.

Doesn't look like your Santa Fe suffer much damage.

My Honda Civic was rear-ended by a giant Suburban while I was stopped at a red light last year. Over $3,800 in damages.

Internet is a funny world I tell yeah. Seen two weird things happen this week related to forums that were just completely random.

I know where that is on I-5, I was curious because one of the pictures I saw it almost looked like you were on the 520 floating bridge. I looked all over our local news (komo, king, kiro and Q13) and couldn't find anything about it.

I for one believe everything I read in here. :p

I do believe this lady and her husband were the ones in the accident with the Lambo.

For some odd reason.. postings in club Polk come up in search engines, some times at the top or near the top. Don't ask me how it happens.. it just does. I think it's voo doo magic or something. There has been more than one or two people new to his forum who just stop by and say they found it by doing a search on the net.

You can all thank me for starting the thread. :p

Sante Fe Gal, glad you and your husband are ok.

You can upload pics here: http://tinypic.com/ and then link to them.
But the burning question folks here want to know, is what kind of audio system you and your hub are using.

You probably already thought of this, but that pic needs to be framed, hung in the livingroom, and titled "Santa fe owns Lamborghini".

Thanks for sharing, thank god you and your husband was ok and can laugh about it now. Very nice pictures love the fact you had them done :) I like the fact you have a sense of humor, but sorry you have no car audio system. But you should know a Home Audio system could count too. :)
