Without mentioning names at all, the number of heavy-hitters that don't post here anymore is terrible. The list includes an awful lot of great guys who were at this years PF, and have dropped out since THEN. It's a shame, but I don't blame them.

Hi George. I have noticed this too. Like you, can't say that I blame them, but I DO miss their input. Well, some of them anyway...

What's a quiet guy that's been on here since 2000 or so gotta do to get a title besides "Polkhead"??

Polkhead. I don't think I like the sound of that.

I know that I haven't posted a whole lot in the past two months. I was never a 10 post a day person. But, a new job (promotion) and the Winter Blues has kept me lurking and not posting a lot. I need some excitement! Spring is coming!:D

    Congrats on the promotion Carl!!!!!

I see most members posting here and there, but there are in fact a few that have gone missing. I'm sure that the Emu thread is the culprit.

Just one person's guess here, but all I have to do is read the Emotiva thread and I think I know. Lot's of posts from fanboy's with limited experience. Right now, there have been over 12,000 views of that thread...we were doing better when we had a TBT thread.

    Congrats, Carl.

On the subject of TBT it seems to me as when that left, this forum changed. Funny but when it left the ones whom **** about it left also. ;)

I guess we are getting older/wiser. I seem to have little patience as of late. I'm certainly not an "older vet" here,, but I've noticed that alot of the guys that helped/educated me post very little,if any at all.I mainly just surf around anymore.I do look forward to the GTG and PF's. All for now.

you are all a bunch of Geeks who have been getting pants and ditched since grade school, so nothing has changed, well, ok, your ditching each other and that is very sad.

Carl, can I "borrow" some money??

If you miss the TBT DJ7 has something very nice for you to look at on his site. DJ your still a Geek though, actually, in fact, your likely the chief geek. You should bless your wife every single day for agreeing to sleep with your azz and your pocket protector.

Fact is GG is right some very good guys are MIA.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!!! It took me back to read this thread tonight I wasn't expecting all the kind words. There are so many good people here that's why many of us come back or stick around. Even when the conversation is boring, it's the good people that make the Polk Forum what it is.

My new job, well it's more visibilty, responsibility and headaches. I love what I do and I have fun doing it. Thanks again!!

Right on, as a newcomer it is discussions like this that makes me stick around. I have hit a few fanboys which made me question if it were worthwile to stick around. Just odd, it mostly the people with many posts under their belts which seems to have the most civilized discussion (mabee a little widom? ;))

I was there about 3-4 weeks ago. Nothing out of the ordinary. Well, ordinary for doro.

Although...He got kinda jumpy when I asked what the hooks and leather straps hanging from the ceiling were and he was trying to usher me out fairly quickly and trying to push some Ushers on me.
